Our
Mission
Americana College is dedicated to providing the highest quality education
for its students by providing the most up to date information using
the some of the best instructors on the market. Conveniently located
close to Hollywood, Los Angeles Midcity, Echo Park and Silverlake,
the goal of our school is to provide careers to students living in
these underserved areas. The school is intended to provide short term
courses for jobs that are in high demand.
Massage Therapy
Upon the completion of the massage therapy program, students have
the knowledge to compete in the open market as a massage therapist.
The curriculum content and duration enable students to take licencing
examinations for different cities and states depending on
requirement of each city. We are offering a 300 hour curriculum for
massage therapy, as Los Angeles City requires 300 hour of class training.
Some cities in the U.S. require as little as 100 hours.
With completion of 300 hours a graduate may apply for 2 types of licences
in Los Angeles City. One type of licence is for in-call clients and
is used while working in a facility such as a medical office or spa.
The other licence is for out-call which includes going to events or
clients' homes. A program of 500 hours allows students to pursue national
licensure. The greater number of training hours, the higher a student's
chance of gaining employment and the lower his or her insurance rates.
Medical & Dental Assistant Students
Upon the completion of the program, the student will have the
knowledge to compete in the open market as a Dental or Medical Assistant,
depending on the training selected by the student. The Medical Assistant
1 discusses anatomy, physiology, clinical diagnosis and treatments
as they would relate to all body organ systems. This class provides
sufficient information for a student to obtain employment in a medical
office, hospital, physical therapy, chiropractic office, and rehabilitation
center. This class is 100 hours. Dental Assistant 1 is 100 hours and
discusses general and dental anatomy and physiology. It covers dental
instrumentation and procedures. This class provides sufficient information
for a student to obtain employment in a dental office.

Our school welcomes all students of all races, sexes, and countries
of national origin. Americana College trains students that are financed
